About LAB Guild

Los Angeles Ballet Guild was proudly founded in LAB’s 2009-2010 season. The mission of LABG is to provide a vital link between Los Angeles Ballet, its artistic and executive leadership, its Board of Directors, and the Southern California community. Through its activities and fundraising, the Guild is by nature philanthropic, creative, entrepreneurial, and industrious. There are two levels of Guild membership: Patrons of the Guild and Corps de Guild. We invite you to read about the functions and of these Guild branches and become involved.

Patrons of the Guild

In 2013 the Guild announced the Patrons of the Guild Membership, chaired by Dina Leeds. Patrons Members recognize the special function of arts programming in defining the character of our great city and in providing uplifting experiences for the underserved communities of Los Angeles. This select group is invited to join in fundraising efforts, and is offered attendance to an exclusive annual event hosted by Los Angeles Ballet. Patrons may request two complimentary tickets for the annual Nutcracker Teaor for an LAB performance of choice (subject to availability).

Corps de Guild

Corps de Guild is the volunteer arm of the LAB Guild. As the corps de ballet is the ‘body,’ or ‘core’ of a ballet company, just so is Corps de Guild to LAB. These Guild members provide invaluable support for Los Angeles Ballet performances – critical front-of-house and backstage activities including the concession and boutique (fundraising activities that are vital to the success of Los Angeles Ballet) – as well as lending a hand with tasks such as large mailings and the delivery of marketing materials to venues and hotels.

Corps de Guild members make a commitment to volunteer 3 shifts per season. Each Corps de Guild member may request two complimentary tickets to one performance of his or her choice per season (subject to availability).

We invite you to take an active part in making this Season a huge success through membership in Los Angeles Ballet Guild, and by encouraging your friends to join with you. Thank you for your interest and consideration!
